You must be at least 18 years old to create a therapist account or purchase a therapist membership.

By using this website you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. Our Service

My Therapist UK helps users:

  • Receive therapist recommendations based on their preferences
  • View therapist profiles
  • Contact therapists directly

The matching process is intended as a guide only.

It should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a therapist is suitable for your individual circumstances.

4. No Professional Advice

Nothing on this website constitutes:

My Therapist UK may verify:

Verification indicates that information supplied during registration met our verification requirements at the time of review.

Verification is not a guarantee of clinical competence, professional suitability or future conduct.

Clients should make their own decisions before engaging any therapist.

8. Therapist Responsibilities

Therapists agree to:

  • Hold appropriate insurance.
  • Keep profile information accurate.
  • Maintain appropriate qualifications.
  • Conduct themselves professionally.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and professional standards.

Failure to do so may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

9. Membership and Subscription

Therapist profiles require an active paid subscription to remain publicly visible.

Subscription fees are billed monthly unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through the therapist dashboard or Stripe Customer Portal.

No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.

If a subscription ends or payment fails, therapist profiles may be hidden from public search until payment is restored.

10. Payments

Payments are securely processed by Stripe.

My Therapist UK does not store full payment card details.

Payment processing is subject to Stripe's own terms and policies.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, graphics, software and design remain the property of My Therapist UK unless otherwise stated.

Therapists retain ownership of the content they upload but grant My Therapist UK a licence to display it for the purpose of operating the platform.

12. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

  • Misuse the platform.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access.
  • Upload malicious software.
  • Publish false or misleading information.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Interfere with website security.
  • Use automated systems to scrape therapist profiles without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
